Professional Experience
A.J. has over 20 years of corporate finance and private equity investment experience. He has worked on over 40 M&A transactions involving principally owner operated businesses first as an investment banker with the Ernst & Young Corporate Finance Group assisting owner operators sell their companies, then as a private equity investor with Kinsman Capital making investments into owner operated businesses.

Personal Background
A.J. was born in Honolulu, HI. He has spent his professional career in Boston, New York, Los Angeles and San Diego where he currently resides. A.J. earned his M.S. in Management from Purdue University in 1985 and his B.A. in Economics from Vassar College in 1980.

Community Involvement
A.J. has been actively been involved in the Alumnae and Alumni of Vassar College (AAVC) as a fundraiser, prospective student interviewer and reunion chairman since the time of his graduation in 1980. He and his wife have also been volunteers at the Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe, CA.
